The apartment renovation was designed to create a more harmonious flow throughout the entire space. The living areas were opened up to the entrance hall through a large sliding door, enhancing permeability and allowing natural light to move freely between rooms. A large beam that once separated the two living spaces was seamlessly integrated into an illuminated shelf, creating a subtle sculptural feature.

New openings were introduced on the main façade, extending the interior towards the exterior and creating the balcony originally envisioned for the building, bringing outdoor living back into the heart of the living room.

The kitchen and all bathrooms were fully redesigned with a lighter palette — natural wood, soft greys and whites — to create a sense of calm, brightness and continuity.

In the bedrooms, the original timber flooring was restored, and new built-in wardrobes were added to every room, ensuring functional storage while maintaining a clean, cohesive aesthetic.

The result is a contemporary home that balances warmth, simplicity and light, enhancing everyday living through thoughtful spatial design.
